Musk Lake Outpost

Manitoba Border Outpost – only cabin on the lake

Catch the excitement at Musk Lake

  •  Lone cabin on the lake
  •  Accommodates up to six guests
  •  45-minute flight from base in Nestor Falls
  •  Fish for trophy walleye, bass, and northern pike

Tucked away in the wilds of northwestern Ontario along the Manitoba border only 80 air miles northwest of our base in Nestor Falls, Musk Lake offers it all – superb fishing, panoramic views, pristine wilderness, and complete solitude.

Musk Lake provides a great combination of bass, northern, and walleye fishing with lake depths up to 14 feet, a rocky shoreline and numerous weed beds. The plentiful fish population combined with an easy-to-navigate lake makes this a great option for the novice angler, even if it’s your first fly-in fishing experience.  Plus, with only one cabin on the lake, you’ll have your pick of the best fishing spots each day.

To protect the high quality of fishing this lake has to offer, conservation limits are in effect (i.e., catch and consume up to two fish per person per day).  We ask that guests return the rest, including the trophies, to the lake.

The outpost is equipped for a comfortable stay including a well-appointed kitchen, hot shower, flush toilet, propane stove and fridge, barbeque, fish cooker, and a generous deck with stunning lake views.  All boats are 16 ft Nadens with swivel seats and 9.9 hp 4-stroke Yamaha motors.  Enjoy the added bonus of a pontoon boat perfect for taking the whole crew out onto the lake.
