About Us

A Note from Us – Welcome to Canada Outfitters

At Canada Outfitters, we combine our love for floatplanes, fishing, and the vast wilderness of northwestern Ontario to bring you something truly special—an unforgettable fly-in fishing experience.

What started 16 years ago with one outpost cabin and a single plane has grown into a fleet of four aircraft and eight remote outposts—each with its own charm, character, and incredible fishing. But the real reward has been the amazing people we’ve met and the friendships we’ve been grateful to build along the way.

We feel incredibly lucky to call this place home, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Getting out into the wilderness isn’t just a pastime for us—it’s a way of life. It’s about leaving your schedule behind and reconnecting with the things that matter: nature, adventure, and the people you care about.

Whether you’re coming for trophy walleye, a peaceful retreat, or that first-ever floatplane flight, we’re here to help make it memorable. Welcome to the lake.

What to Expect

Reliable Aircraft, Experienced Crew

With nearly three decades in the air, Todd is experienced as both a commercial pilot and aircraft maintenance engineer. He’s spent his life in bush planes and takes great pride in running a tight, safe, and reliable operation—though he’s always happy to throw in a bad pilot joke or two along the way.

Meet our fleet:

  • Beech 18 – A true workhorse with twin-engine power

  • DeHavilland Beaver – The legendary bush plane known for strength and reliability

  • Found Bush Hawk – Rugged and versatile, built for remote flying

  • Cessna 180 – Nimble, efficient, and perfect for light loads and quick hops into the wilderness

Each aircraft is maintained with care—because your safety, comfort, and experience are our top priorities.

Fishing for the Future

Flying gives us access to some of the most incredible fishing spots in Ontario, and we’re committed to protecting those waters for generations to come. Through sustainable fishing practices we can preserve the natural beauty and vitality of our local ecosystems. After all, there’s nothing better than knowing your grandchild might some day catch the same trophy pike you released.

If you’re looking for a remote adventure, excellent fishing, and real connection—we’d love to show you around.
